Finally, after more than two years of development, we are showing the world „DAOGETHER“. Our mission is to enable virtual organization, namely:
1. remote meetings with videoconferences, where you can authenticate yourself via wallet, that is more secure than passwords and above all it is simpler
2. instead of lengthy „meetings“, more time-shifted work, alone or in a group, and this goes with documents and collaborative writing
3. a better feeling for the whole team, against loneliness and silos, so everyone can create multiple rooms and you can also see who is where (and you can also turn this off with a privacy feature „Hide me“)
4. documenting decisions, be it minutes that are written together (clarity at last, right away!), or declarations and even contracts (initially simple contracts like NDAs, LoIs, freelancer contracts).
We are called DAOgether because we want to promote decentralized organizations. This is more than simple voting! Mature organizations need to discuss, develop variants, align – voting is at the end of a long process and it often establishes legitimacy.
We are already proud of the fact that we have created a tool that can do more than almost any other: (written) collaboration and video in a single tool is very rare (hello Redmond!), and the simplicity beats no one, especially since we have hidden a bunch of other features: You can email texts, you can invite wallets, you can assign roles, we have a little presentation management and much more.
But we have to admit that we are not finished yet. Our roadmap still foresees: Mining tickets for rooms as NFT, writing proposals and decisions including presences in a blockchain (Polygon), documents will even be stored independently from us in peer-to-peer file services.
What is emerging is a kind of operating system for modern organizations: collaborative, self-organized, transparent. This is a cultural change as well and it will take a bit time for us and you to find out the way in detail.
But it still needs a few months. Please support us with feedback and when it’s ready, please also with subscriptions, we financed it all ourselves and it’s a lot of work.
And for big steps we also need money – Angels and VCs welcome.
